Title: Swampland Constraints on the Symmetry TFT of Supergravity

Abstract: We review the Symmetry TFT (SymTFT) — a topological field theory that encodes different global forms and anomalies — of QFTs from string/M-theory compactifications. We then discuss the specific case of supergravity theories with 16 supercharges in d>7. The geometric constraints on its SymTFT can be interpreted in terms of the global structure of the gauge group including the U(1)-factors. Such constraints forbid, e.g., certain simply-connected non-Abelian gauge groups that cannot be realized in the String Landscape.
