Title: The Quasicrystalline String Landscape

String theory constructions have been focused a lot on geometric models as they provide  simpler and more intuitive models to study various physics. However, a complete understanding of the string landscape also requires looking into the more exotic corners including non-geometric constructions. In this talk I will mainly focus on asymmetric orbifolds and quasicrystalline compactifications. Such models involve stringy symmetries and provide interesting relations to the swampland program.
