Title: Euclidean Wormholes and the Swampland
Abstract: Euclidean wormholes play a crucial role in quantum gravity and holography. I will discuss how we resolved the (in)famous negative mode problem of Euclidean axion wormholes. Then I will describe some recent work in explicitly constructing Euclidean axion wormholes in flat and AdS space from compactifications of string theory. Our explicit construction of AdS wormholes allows us to test some proposed positivity bounds in the dual CFT.
